September 23- The Deschutes Social Hour.
Get ready to kick back and connect! Join us for our September Resident Event: The Deschutes Brewery Social Hour.
Date: Wednesday, September 23rd
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Deschutes Brewery Pub (Private Reserved Space, right behind The Gossamer)
We’re taking over a private space at the pub to host an evening of great food, refreshing drinks, and awesome company. We'll have catered bites ready and drink tickets waiting for you to get the good vibes flowing!
It’s the perfect way to unwind, mingle with your neighbors, and enjoy a local favorite right in our backyard.
RSVP: Let us know if you can make it by clicking the "GOING" option on the FB Events so we can get an accurate headcount for food and drinks. We can't wait to see you there!

Summer is winding down, but Portland's event calendar is seriously stacked this September. If you're looking to get out, stay active, and soak up the best of the city's culture, here are two major events to put on your radar:
PICA’s TBA:26 (Time-Based Art Festival) | Sept 9–13: The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art takes over venues, warehouses, and performance spaces citywide for five days of innovative art. Expect everything from contemporary performance and experimental music to interactive pop-ups—a great excuse for an evening out exploring new corners of the city.
Rose City Comic Con | Sept 11–13: The Oregon Convention Center hosts three full days of pop culture, creative panels, artist alleys, and gaming zones. It’s a fun, high-energy weekend to walk the floor, check out incredible local makers, and catch up with friends.
Grab some comfortable shoes, gather a group, and take full advantage of the city while the weather is still prime!

Pet of the Month: Meet Margot! 🎀🐾
Give a big round of applause to our fabulous September Pet of the Month, Margot! Looking iconic with her little hair bow, this sweet pup knows how to live her best life here at The Gossamer.
When she’s not out for scenic evening strolls through the Pearl District or tagging along for patio dinners with her family, you can catch her showing off her lightning speed during 3rd-floor hallway zoomies (seriously, she’s fast!). On cozy nights in, Margot loves snacking on popcorn and binge-watching Below Deck on Bravo—a true reality TV queen. Most of all, she adores all the amazing friends she’s made around the community.
Be sure to give Margot a wave and a sweet hello next time you spot her living it up!
